Thumbs up Turbotrix air filter kit !

Just installed my new Turbotrix air intake kit - www.turbotrix.com

I was NOT expecting to make any HP at all - I assumed it was NOT going to make any HP overt the stock one - I was just doing it to simplify and dress up my engine compartment and also give a better sound

I am SHOCKED that the car now holds boost better on the high rpms - the boost does not fall off quiet as qucikly - it definetely helped the power on the car - - where as in 1st and 2nd gear the boost level would quickly start to taper down as the revs rose - - now the boost hangs on there more and stays at a slightly higher peak value

Ita a nice looking filter - - it really dresses up the engine - and best of all its only $75.00 !!!

looks just like Bushur's and his $80. Gotta love price wars, hopefully they will drop the price down to around $50-60 considering we are only basically porchasing a filter, or is there more to it? can you hear the blow off any better with the new filter?

No ****. They're like 2 hours from my office.

WHY DOES NO ON EVER TELL ME THESE THINGS?

EDIT: Whoah. "hours". I meant minutes. Anyway, posting and talking on the phone leads to mixups like that, kids.

From TruboTrix.com

13.2 @ 102 with only an air filter upgrade and a HBC set @ 19psi. Stock tire pressure, pump gas, a trunk full of stuff and a baby seat in the back. The clutch seems like the weak link so far but that should be taken care of soon.

lol... you gotta love the idea of baby seats in cars at the strip

I ilke the turbotrix guy a lot becuase he helps promote our local shootout we are having June 14th - he enclosed a lot of promotional materials for variious import events in the box whichh he has nothing to do with and becuase he seems liek a very nice guy

I dont think he is invcolved in any price war - - I just think the other guys is overcharging for what is basically an adapter plate and a cheap filter made in china with some shinny chrome on it

It may eb cheap - but it works great and sounds wild !

Where is it on the website? Are there any solid numbers for the gains? Better than Buschur?

I think its the exact same thing as the busher - just cheaper and a niccer color

The guy was great to deal with and shipped it out teh same day

It defeinetely holds boost better without the factory air filter - feels like more power - but its a marginal gain

I mostly like it b/c it clean up the look of my engine compartment
