Question...will my brakes sqeak?

i will be buying a new evo iX but I don't want the brakes to sqeak I find that really annoying especially when everyone at the light starts starring at you. My Rsx never sqeaked a day in it's life. I'm guessing If I do a proper brake in and don't brake hard for the first 600 miles I shouldn't have any sqeakiness. Right?

Thank guys
-John

The stock brembos very seldom squeak and when they do it is very minimal. My project Mu B force however sqeaks like you wouldn't believe but only when im light braking. Anything faster than 20 miles an hour and you can't hear them at all.

Bed-in:
10: 30mph to 10mph moderate braking then let cool for 15 mins
5: 50mph to 10mph hard braking then let cool for 30 mins
Full bed-in first ~1000 miles

Is something funny? And I believe the word you are looking for is what.

And that is a bed-in procedure.

No, my stock pads did not squeal. You should be ok.

my breaks squeal like no other on my 03 evo. I am on my second set of Brembo pads and rotors with only 39K on my car.

Seems to be the luck of the draw. I see lots of people complaining about their brakes squealing, but mine have never squeaked in its lifetime (maybe I did something right?).

they will sqeek more than likely...but thats normal because of the high performance pads. RSX won't sqeek cause its no track monster from the factory you'll get used to the sqeeking

Never had any squeaking from mine (stock), but then I do not drive very fast or agressive.

I have an 05 EVO and it squeeks somewhat often. I don't know why though, and I agree, it's embarassing as hell when you come to a stoplight. We bought an expensive car. "I just hate thinking about what others think. Like oh look at that stupid looking car, cheap piece of crap"
