I got hit by a deer!!

Yes you read right, a dam dear hit me.. I was cruising down a country road just after dropping my friend off, when off to my left i see a set of eyes glowing in the dark... I begin to slow down, knowing that stupid animals always travel in packs. When to my suprise right outside my right hand window a dear comes flying into the street, i slam on the brakes (thank god for the brembos) i slow down to about 10mph when the dear turns down the strreet parallel with me and decides to try and corss the street with me next to him. He bumps into my car which felt alot harder then it was but still enough to make me curse violently at him (as if that would help) and hit my steering wheel. So i race back to my house to survey the damage and to my suprise there doesn't appear to be any. It's dark out now so i can't really see to well, but from what i can see with a flashlight there are no dents, so hopefully it's just some scuff marks. The cars getting detailed next weekend so that's not a problem either.

The moral of the story is, I ****ING HATE DEER!!!

Edit, lol i'm still shaking - just noticed i spelled deer wrong in the title

My dads wife was driving home one time a few years back and a deer ran out in front of her, did some serious damage to her car, ****ing deer bounced off the hood and roof of the car, smashed the windshield, etc. I'm not sure of this...but I think her insurance totalled the car. I just know she got a new car right after that happened.

Mmmmmm, deer. Good eatin'. You should have gunned the gas, not hit the brakes, and then tied your new deer prize to your hood and go home and make jerky, steaks, stew. That's what we'd do in Oklahoma anyway.

yeah I hit a deer doing 60 mph in my truck a month ago. I'll tell ya...a chevy truck is like a rock...only dented my bumper. I'm just hopeing that hitting a deer is like getting struck by lightning. I sincerely doubt it here in Texas though.
