acd and fog switch problem

I took apart the fog and acd switch to paint the bulbs and now they don't work. I thought I put them back together properly, but they don't seem to be toggling either relay. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm guessing it has something to do with the fins that are suppose to brush along the leads. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you take the bulbs out while painting??? Did any paint get into the bulb socket??? Why paint the bulbs??? What is wrong with the factory color of the bulbs???

Good luck,

-Nate

He probably tried to change them to amber. I did my HVAC but saw what was required for those switches and thought it was dumb to go through the trouble of doing it.

I figured it out. I put the metal fingers used to swipe against the leads in backwards. Works like a charm now and all my interior lights match great!
