I had 3 autometer gauges that were 3-5 psi off, replaced that with a stewart warner but it was too dim at nights. After screwing around with many gauges I just sprung for a turbo smart e-boost II and couldn't be any happier. It tells you EXACTLY what your boost is plus it's a EBC which I needed. I'm seeing 20.88 psi peak on pump CA 91 octane.(car is bone stock other than a drop in and flash)

I know this has been beat to death, but I figured I'd throw in my $.02 it shouldnt matter if your gauges are off by a couple percent, as long as thier consistant it does it's job. It's like comparing dynos, some read high, some read low, if they read the same each pull it works.

I think what Frenchy is trying to say is along the lines of Accuracy vs. Precision. This thread is about both so a boost gauge that is lacking either of these qualities sucks.

I really did like my Defi and yes it was very accurate. The only bad thing is I had to ditch it when I went over 2 bar or boost. I replaced it with a Stewart Warner 40psi gauge. It serves its purpose but the needle tends to "flutter" for a second or 2 before it will sit accurately at the set number.
