Most Accurate Boost Gauge on the Market.
Well speaking from experience my Defi BF amber Imperial boost is off 2psi. I still think it was worth the money for me because I do use my peak hold and play back and above all I paid for them to match the factory guages. I mean if I had a cheap 1st gen DSM I wouldnt care how it looks but after dropping 30 grand on a car I want it to look perfect, not just work well. The Stewart Warner's look the same at night but have white numbers by day. They are more accurate and cost 1/4 as much. This seems to be what some of the big name guys are using like Dave Buschur and Al Freidman. If I could do it all over I would still get the Defis based on looks alone but if you dont care about that, then go Steward Warner. Period. Just my 2 cents....

I used an Apex'i 60mm mechanical boost gauge in my Eclipse. Don't know exactly how accurate it was, but it gave nearly identical boost readouts to my HKS EVC boost controller (after changing between units). I set my boost controller for 1.25 bar and the gauge read 18 psi on the nose all the way to redline.
This was the old EL-series, not the new(er) EL2's with playback. The gauge is pretty cheap, but not as cheap as the Stewart Warner's. The only advantage I can see over the Stewart Warner's is the fact that it's 60mm (SW's are all 52mm).
They aren't that popular for Evo's, but I think most of that is the bright blue backlighting that doesn't match the Evo interior lighting.

*edit*just wanted to let everyone know, the 52mm greddy boost gauges are available in 30 psi or 2.0 bar, the peak hold/warning 60mm gauges are only offered in bar. hope this clears it up.
