Stalled it 4 times pulling up to the pump? Yeah the Evo is the perfect car for you - go for it.

That's very funny

I hope you get the prius.
BTW, I really hope you go back and buy the exact car you test drove since you drove it hard.

I would feel really bad for someone that buys the car you test drove.
This is one of the reasons why dealers don't let people test drive the evo.

WTF! I didn't drive my 05' until I owned it... and I was 22 at the time. But I was the first to drive it since it rolled off the truck, so I didnt mind. I would really be pissed if somebody had driven the hell out of it on a previous test drive, especially on a 9se. What were they thinking.

i never stalled it on the road just in real slow areas like the gas station besids that i had no problems....the clutch doesnt grab till halfway and then its wierd you have to feather it super good i got it down by the end where i could back up without giving the car gas...this isnt my first time driving either but i dont drive stick soften only 1 friend has a oz and let my try it....but man that evo has some tourqe so low....and the dealer insisted i "after this stop sign put it in first and let it rip" he took me to the road i had no idea where i was to begin with it was about 40 ish degrees and i felt the rear notch a little is that possible????and man that steering and the momo wheel are the **** .....evo is definatly it....i wanna buy it from them but they got a silver one and the dealership by my house has a gray one...idk ill see what intrest is on them tommorow from mitsus specials deptment...

You mean your parents will buy it for you. I hope they get some sense and buy you a more conservative car, a performance car is never meant to be a first car for anyone. Think about things like gas, maintenance, insurance, college/university tuition, etc..

Thats too funny. Yeah I went to a local dealer the other day looking at a brand new Evo9 Mr. The sales guy just looked at me and walked away. Probably thought I was some punk guy with dreams and no money. He just ignored me the whole time as with the other sales person. The funny thing was I was waiting for my evo8 which was getting a oil change and decided to check out some evos. I'm sure that ***** sales man would not give me a test drive let alone unlock the door so I could sit inside the evo!!! I guess his loss on a sale as I'm looking to trade my evo8 for a 9. I'm going to a dealership thats more friendly, helpful and won't prejudge me on my appearance!!!

ouch man letting it rip on a fresh 4g63? At 17? That dealership must be full of morons, desperate morons

Thats why I bought the oz instead of a beat to hell 03 evo. Once I get out of school and am paying all my own bills I'm getting one right of the truck, and I'll have a nice 40mpg beater oz. I've got patience, I can wait.

Honestly man I know evos are sweet but if you even knew what you were getting into you wouldn't have done that to that car. Be patient, get a crappy car for a few years, learn your stuff, and then enjoy whatever you get when you get it

all the dealerships around here hardley will unlock the evos for you unless your an older guy who looks like hes got money...

i had cash in full + my truck thats paid off ready to be traded in and i was ready to purchase the evo if they offered a decent deal and they still thought i was some punk kid and wouldnt help me...all the dealerships i went to would not let anyone test drive a new evo, only would let you if they had a used one or a demo in stock..south coast mitsu let me test drive a used evo around the block but it was like a 30 second drive due to insuance restrictions etc...

once a new evo is driven around on the street they have to sell it by law as a USED vehicle because it has to be registered..i doubt they handed you the keys to a new evo..if they did they must be a ****ty dealer with low sales and the test drive was shorter than 30 mins....(kids these days like to exxagerate over the internet)

are you sure it wasnt a Lancer ES and your just confused thinking it was an evo?????
