Just Test Drove A Evo Ix Se
if your stalling any car on the test drive, you are not ready to drive everyday. You need an automatic if you cant drive stick that well. this car dosent deserve the abuse a 17 year old who cant make it into first yet will put it through, but thats your rich parents decesion.

Funny, I could never get a Mitsu dealer to let me test an Evo and the local Subie dealer let me test an STI with no questions asked. But an Evo was what I wanted but I would never buy a car that I can't test drive first. It pissed me off enough to where I went and bought something else. A year and a half later I showed up at the same Mitsu dealer in my M3 and they were practically tripping over themselves to let me test drive the Evo. That's some pretty shallow behavior, but the fact is most car dealerships aren't so great to deal with.
The funniest part of all is that I was looking to buy a 2001 996TT and the dealer practically threw the keys at me to test drive it.
By the way, the evo's clutch is almost stupid light. If you can't handle it you probably should get something else to learn on.

This kid is hilarious, he finds an Evo hard to drive. This thing's clutch is as easy to operate as a honda civic.
"Mitsu won my money, now all i need to do is convince my parents to buy it for me"
lol, what an idiot...

your lucky! you got to test drive a brand new IX! i only got to sit on the passenger seat while the dealer drove some used VIII, they didn't even let me in a IX, i had to sneak-a-peeek through the windows of the car just so i can see the interior(i hate that dealership). im 17 too, and I just got my IX about a month ago but im used to driving manual transmission, and i used my uncle's rsx type s on my hands-on exam at the dmv :P in my opinion the evo's clutch seems to be more forgiving so it's weird that you stalled 4 times in a row, but who knows maybe u had a bad day?... good luck with trying to convince your parents! you'll love the car, i sure do.

335 noth worth it??? How is an inline 6 twin turbo not worth it? I'm not sure if there's anyone moding those cars yet but usualy when you run around with a twin turbo inline 6 you have tons of potential. And that cars f***ing amazing inside out for 40k its more than worth it. I'd work on getting that instead of the evo if your that young and ur parents are just dumping money. I myself would take the IX but if I were in ur situation with your age I'd get the bmw....
its lame to test drive a car that your not really gonna buy and beat the snot out of it. if you do the right thing you would buy that very car you test drove. must be nice to have rich parents to buy you a 34k car too.
