I had problems at first, but now I have not had any problems. Last time I went to the track, I had basically 6 clean runs, no misses or bogs. Once you get used to it, its a piece a cake

I have noticed that the 1-2 shift gate is different than other cars I own/have owned. On fast shifts at high rpm's give a little more pressure to the left on the shifter...the shift gate seems to spring a little to the right between shifts that can cause a grind/mis-shift. Might be worth a try.

I've missed the shift twice, but both times it was because I was doing very quick shifts, but not really paying attention to the shifting itself. If I'm keeping in mind that the shift can be a bit tricky and am actually somewhat concentrating on it, I can shift as fast as I want into 2nd with absolutely no problems, regarless of rpm.
