CL completely focked up that car when he bought it, what a disgrace to have APC stickers on a skyline. That man is the biggest sellout I've ever seen.
I remember reading both of those issues, but the MotoRex Blackbird was in Super Street too. I doubt Craig Lieberman re-painted his car silver. However, I think that a lot of the cars used for the movie were set up pretty well as far as the minor details, since they had a pretty decent budget... I remember the L.A. Times article about 2 Fast 2 Furious stating that over $7 million was spent on cars and car parts alone.

But yes, Craig Lieberman is a sellout. I hated listening to him on the bonus features of the DVDs, ESPECIALLY that "How to trick out an import car" on The Fast and Furious: Tricked Out Edition and 2 Fast 2 Furious DVDs. While money is money, he let (Mitsubishi) sponsorships blind his better judgment... the Evo VII was cool (even though most of them were just Lancers with Evo bodywork), but the Eclipse convertible? Come on. It was bad enough that they killed off the Skyline within the first 10 minutes.

Actually the Bobby Rahal/Graham Rahal EVO is for sale right now at Showcase Mitsubishi in Bay City, MI. It has some very nice upgrades done, including a Vishnu turbo kit on it and was custom tuned by Shiv. I think it has even been signed by Bobby and Graham. I met Graham and Jarrad Rahal at an autocross. It was fun listening to their stories about taking dad's Porche Carrera GT for a brisk drive

I own an Evo and I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal. I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.
