How relieble is a 500whp evo8 w/stock motor
Check out my buddies 35r set up on Street Tuned.org It's the blue one.
He drives his almost daily without any real problems except with his twin disk clutch he keeps having a problem with the clip or something.
BTW he's done all the work himself.
Good luck

i have a 35R with stock motor and other parts on sig....i drive mine on 22psi every single day for the past 8-9 mths...and no problems at all....the car is easily a daily driver...i put down 418awhp on 22psi...and 500 daily drive on pump with stock motor will be hard to get...you will need the parts i have plus intake mani,TB,and probably meth to get over 500hp on pump...unless you can afford 117 every where you go...but a 35R on stock motor is very reliable......i couldnt be more happy
hey i put down low 500 my **** is fine now. i plan on building the buttom end soon but i run 30psi at least 3 4 times a week when i go out. but daily driven 19psi i plenty. just keep up the maintanince on the car, check the wide band out and trust your tuner lol...GOODLUCK!

I have one customer making 611hp/490ftlb on stock internals trapping 135mph and 11.0 1/4 mile times.
He has been doing that for 6 months no damage in sight, but I do suggest building the motor for anything over 500 wheel hp, though we now know it's not a necessity.

I'm shocked that 500whp is even reachable with stock internals. That is somewhere around 550-575 crank hp, almost 300 more than the stock rating!
Reliable? I dont know, just because a number of people have done it doesn't mean its reliable. Only time will tell, personally I dont consider 20,000 miles reliable... Maybe 50,000+

I plan on being one of those 600 whp on stock block guys. I have plans for a 37r w/ supporting mods at 30 psi on meth daily driven. When it lets go i will build it and have 700 whp; sounds like a plan to me.
