Car Dead?!?!?!

Car Dead?!?!?!

so i was getting up this morning to go work out, i get in the car, turn the key and all the electricals work for a split second and boom, everything shuts off. my whole electrical system is dead. even the hazard lights. can anyone tell me what happened to my car???

get a volt meter and check the battery terminal to terminal. if that's fine. move to the fuse block under the hood and in the car and check those. if those are both fine it's probably the fuseable link at the starter.

hmmm it was a dead battery but i dont understand how it can die out on me ata 12600 miles

i had a simliar experince, i was at a shop one day and when i went to move the car it just wouldnt start. it was like everything was dead. the owner of the shop came out with an electrical tester and we checked the fuses turns out he yanked a big fuse and put it back in. after that didnt have any problems.

actually if it was fine and the shut off I wager that one of the plate shed some oxide which in turn shorted the battery. This isn't that uncommon.

Do you have an alarm?? I know my alarm on the other car drained the stock battery very fast if I didnt drive the car everyday.....i think two days without driving it would make it die....was a pain in the ***
