Experiences with DEFI HUD VSD CONCEPT???
Trying to see if this product is worth buying. Basically I want it so it can digitally display the RPM, MPH, and link up to my other guages and display boost and whatever else.
I actually saw an evo with it and it looks visible even in sunlight. Basically I'm wondering if there is lag on the output, or if it accurate.
If you are using it please chime in.
Thanks in advnace,
Ken
PS I searched and found one thread, but it didnt help much.

I am using the Defi VSD Basis, which is the not so feature rich version but works for my needs. It is also cheaper than the DEFI VSD Concept. It shows a digital readout of speed and rpm and remembers top speed. It works very well with the 3 different intensity settings during different times of the day.
I've gotten so used to it, that when I just into my friend's EVO without any sort of digital display, I have a hard time monitoring speed. Given the EVOs excellent stock speedometer display

I have one and love it. I had a difficult time seeing the speedo at times, and the HUD is perfect.
I got the Concept, but would have been just as happy with the Basis, as speed and RPM are all I really wanted.
You can clearly see it night or day.

How do the numbers increment? I remember my old digital display on a previous car and if you got on it the numbers would ramp up in large chunks (5...17...24...etc) which was a minor annoyance. The only reason I haven't bought the VSD is because of the color. Red stockers + Red Defi BFs + Bright green HUD= I don't like it.
