pros/cons of fender mods

what are the pros and cons for both
either rolling the fender lips with the fender roller or just cutting the lips off to fit a wider tire combo.
any ideas what is better?

well you pretty much said the pro. you can roll your fender and make room for bigger wheels, but that's only if you think they're gonna scrap.

i guess the con would be that sometimes, since you did roll your fenders and the paint is bent, it actually causes the paint to chip off and sometimes it goes towards the outer part of the fender (meaing the visible part opposite the inside). just to it evenly when you do to it.

Cutting them will make them flimsy. I would roll them with a roller and a heat gun, try and get them as tight up in there as possible so it ill be like cutting them, but with the added strength.

You can also use a baseball bat or rounded hammer if you can't get a roller.
