I know there's a review here with Race Ramps, but are these really so much more superior to the Rhino Ramps? I read a couple of bad stories about Rhino Ramps, but a lot of good ones too. What other good ramps are out there for lowered vehicles? Please advise. Thanks!

I have Rhino Ramps. What kinda bad stories have you heard? I wonder what could even happen, their just plastic ramps :-P Mine are kinda high, so I have to put some shorty 2x4's in front of the ramp so my front lip will clear the ramp. Other than that, they work great.

yeah ...i bought the rhino ramps at wal-mart for $40...a lot better than $200 race ramps money wise....anyway my chin spoiler was hitting the ramps so i placed them off the side of my driveway where there's a few inches down to the grass(the yard is very slightly going downhill away from the driveway) (this changes the angle so it's not so steep) (if you do this be very careful and put on the emergency brake, put it in gear, and block the tires so the car doesn't move) ( the lip on the ramps holds the car in place though...just be safe) and i'm able to drive up them without hitting the chin spoiler on them...they work great to me...haven't had any problems...i think if you didn't have the chin spoiler you could probably get up them fine without any sort of 2x4 or dropoff driveway or whatever

I use rhino ramps as well with 2x6 in front of them to raise the car a little bit . No problems so far, and cheap too

my rhino ramps eventually cracked since they are hollow and i deemed them unusable since i didn't feel like being crushed by my evo.

Take a look at the minilift ramps, from Discount ramps. Expensive but very nice. These babies won't break or slide!

Looked into the LDS ramps.. LSD I wasn't so interested in tho

But yeah, how much clearance do these give you? From the pics it seems that there isn't room to slide under with a creeper or something with these? But is it enough to do an oil change if you go ghetto style under the car with a towel or something? My car is not lowered (but will be in Spring). Let me know thanx.

honestly i don't know. i've been looking for some ramps like this but those race ramps are way too expensive for me. the race ramp website is cool because it shows every dimension on the ramps, but the takata seems to show none (not even lift height). Can anyone with these give us an answer?

Ive got rhino ramps and my front lip rubs a little if I just go straight up them, but there is a crack in the parking lot at school I put them in so they sit a little lower, and it works like a charm. That or 2x4's to pop the tires up a bit.
