i mean i ordered my J-Spec FQ-300 Evo 8 tail lights and they finally came in today. Paid $20 bucks for them !! no no no, i just painted the turn signal section amber for a nicer look - too much clear was annoying me. also painted the side markers amber. who knows whats next to be painted.....

Everybody is trying to get rid of the horrible orange blinkers, and you painted your rear lights and side repeaters!!!

I think that you could find someone to exchange the front, rear and side lights for japanese ones, and give you some cash!

 

Nice evo (except for the orange indicators) and nice s2000 BTW!

 

Can I paint my taillights red? So I don't have to spend extra for the EVO VII taillights.

I've been thinking of doing something similar to the tail lights if/when I get my Evo. I want to paint the inside chrome part of the housing with red Krylon Stained Glass spray paint. That will give them a normal light look as opposed to the "Altezza" look. Then I was going to give the entire tail light assembly a little bit of a tint. Not fully blacked out, just a little tinted. I want a black Evo, and I think this would look super good on one. I'll attach a few pics of some Photoshop work I did to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. I got the pic from the Vivid Racing Gallery forum. Thanks to who ever it is whos car that is. Pic worked great for what I was trying to do.

Actually I've got to admit that doesn't look too bad.

 

I personally like the amber blinker and sidemarker. I think it should be amber IMO. I hate all red tail lights. I might have to do that to mine when I get it next week. $400 is a bit too much for some JDM tails.
