2007 Tuner Shoutout Presented By Nitto Tire and Perrin Performance Sept 22-23

2007 Tuner Shootout Presented by Nitto Tire

Official event site: www.tunershootout.com

Its official, the third annual 2007 Tuner Shootout (formerly "Evo Tuner Shootout") is to be held September 22-23rd 2007 at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch near Las Vegas, NV with the 3.5 mile configuration! In partnership with Speed Ventures, the event features 2 full days of intense road course excitement with both a time attack competition and a DE for non competition drivers. Changes for \this year include opening up the event to WRX/STIs and GTRs in addition to the Lancer Evolution for an all out AWD turbo battle. The competition will also now be open to tuner shops and privateers alike.

This year's event will be massive with 120 cars on track throughout the weekend. There is space for 80 DE drivers on the 22nd and 40(intermediate and advanced only) drivers on the 23rd. Together with 40 competitors make for a wild weekend. There will be unlimited room for spectators and parking with only a small gate fee charge by the track. There will also be substantial media coverage for this event. A list of media, competitors, and DE registrants will be found starting soon on our official website.

The competition will break down into 4 classes(listed below) with the added bonus of the Nitto NT-01 Challenge

The DE is open to all cars and WILL sell out. We would like to see as many Lancers as possible, so plan and sign up early!

Unlike last year, you do not have to be affiliated with a business to enter the competition. Privateers welcome.

One thing I forgot to talk about is the facilities. For those that are not familiar with Spring Mountain, it is sort of a "country club" track with many yearly members. Because of this, the facilities are great and keep getting better. There are a number of air conditioned buildings on the grounds with full bathroom facilites, large parking lots, and the entire place is in great shape. Also, there may be some Radicals running in the DE groups which is always interesting
