who is on your 2nd evo - why?
Was going to trade my '03 in for a IX but decided to go with the '05 VIII due to the 0% financing. Hey, I dropped my payments AND got a new car so the loss of power isn't that big of an issue. Gonna wait and see how the Xs turn out before I trade again though.
I bought my first EVO IX RS. I modified it at Buschurs and my son liked it so well he talked me out of it, so I ordered another one EXACTLY like it. Then I proceeded to let Buschurs have it till February. Just a few little changes, (to everything).
I had my '05 WW GSR and traded for my '06 RR RS with only 17k on the odometer. My RS is rediculously more fun than my GSR ever was. The improvements really shine with the IX, esp going from a GSR to an RS.
oh ps, it helped that I actually MADE money on the trade WITH a lower finance rate

Had a bit too much fun 2 years ago with my 03 evo in the snow i messed up the tranny bad, and i was really sick of how rough it rode, and an S4 seemed to be a bit smoother till it needed work and i had no warranty. than i saw the IX MR and realized it was a stupid idea to get rid of the Evo so i got the IX MR.
I had an '03 TB (bought new) that I traded in for a '06 Honda Civic LX (stuck with the plan that when my son turned 12 I would get a car I would give him at 16). That was on July 22nd. I went stir crazy, and on October 19 bought and '03 BBY (kept the Civic
) My wife was not happy and the honey do list is about a mile long - but totally worth it!
My TB had 42,438 miles on it - my BBY only has around 15,500! This car was totally the deal of a lifetime - picked it up in Waukesha, WI and it was babied. Whoever purchased it originally basically put every Mitsu option on it, so it has Alum hand brake, shift knob & pedals, door sill scuff plate, front corner air dams, hyperground cables, IC surround, Strut tower brace (F&R) & Sports meter kit - easily and extra $2k (which I would never buy myself from Mitsu) but it looks clean. I wanted BBY originally but they were impossible to find at the time in Ohio, so Christmas came a little early!

had an apex silver 03..... sold it in hopes of trying other fun cars..... had a supra for over a year.... realized it was brutally fast but no fun to drive..... now im back in a 9!
Had: 05 VIII SSL Lightning Yellow
Have: 06 IX MR SE
Reason: Personal & Legal. Very happy with the upgrade however. Loved both cars. Minus my freeze out plug going on my VIII, that sucked.

Drove my IX MR into the ground after my friend past away. I beat the **** out of it, The synchros were destroyed, the bilsteins were blown FROM the swift springs that were on the car for a few months.

I had a WW '03 VIII and got a IX GG SE. I was tired of trying to take care of the cheap paint on the '03 and I liked all the features of the SE (Alum. roof, BBS's, HID's, bigger turbo, tunability, etc). I noticed that I had to "relearn" how to drive the SE because of the ACD. I can definately feel the difference when driving the SE vs. the non-ACD VIII!
