I have 2 now, does that count?

Had a '03, sold it to a buddy, bought an '05 MR, buddy totalled '03 by hitting a deer doing 80, bought it back from him and his insurance Co, rebuilt, now have an Evo Family.

Hmmm, we have carbon copy twins in the area!

BTW, did you get it at Antwerpen?

I went from 04'RS to IX. I don't really notice the ACD. Maybe becuse my RS had front LSD.

What diff. do you feel?

technically i am on my second Evo but i still own my first one. I have two 2005's. i bought my second one for a daily driver because i have a BR Stage 5 on my first one, and i still drive the Stage 5 Evo about 5 times more than the daily driver. I have 26,000 miles on the Stage 5 and 6,500 miles on the daily driver.

Wouldnt trade either for the world

Yes, I got mine from Antwerpen.

When getting onto the beltway, i can feel the tranny/ACD kick in...kinda feel it "pull" (for lack of a better word) me around the corner. Not that its bad...I just know the exits I take to and from work and how to take them in my 03, but when I took them the same way in the IX, I almost ran into the guardrail because of the mild oversteer. It will take me some "practice" to perfect the turns the same way. I now know how much understeer was built into the '03's!

If I could convince the soon to be wife to buy and evo too, then we would have two. We already test fitted her 1 year old niece's baby seat in the back, and it works out fine. Got my fingers crossed. 8 for me.... MR for her?

on my 2nd evo aswell. was home on leave from iraq, drove to indiana bought a 03bby for 20,500 from a private seller. had the car three days and on the third night was on my way home from the club and this car comes out of nowhere and runs me off the road, hit a sign, curb, and a fence. clipped the oil filter lost all oil pressure. did about 9k external damage, did some crazy engine damage. from what the dealer said i scorched a piston and did something to a cyclinder. oh well got totalled out and now got another 03bby waiting for me in my garage when i get home

LOL, I almost traded my TB IX in a couple months after I got it, because I hate black and wish I never got it. Now I just dont care.....

Since were on the topic, I plan to get a 07 335I sedan at the end of 07. Keeping the EVO and the S2K.
