More like a ****ing space shuttle. It's alright though. The speakers are superior to any other laptop I've used. That little subwoofer adds a nice, but not overly done touch of bass.

its very nice, im glad you can turn the LEDs off though.
it does have great speakers.
graphics are almst as good as my friends laptop with SLI

You have the newer one with the 512mb 7900 GTX GPU? I have that one. Greatest thing ever.

I'm glad you can turn off those LEDs too. The lights just add to the geek factor.

yeah, thats the one i have, freakin amazing, i would reccomend it
sometimes when im alone at night...
i pretend my laptops a UFO...lol

Google it. It's called the Dell XPS M1710. It's probably overkill for what you need a computer for though, so I don't recommend it.

LOL@ the LED's thats a pretty bamf looking notebook. If I was going to drop 2k on a laptop I woudl get a tablet

tablets are nice, butmy freind has one, ive never seen her use it as a tablet, and it looks so flimsy as a regular flip laptop

I have no use for a tablet besides the "bling" factor. I just want a good running notebook. The more that I think about it I coudl geto ne and play games on it at work. So might spring for a little higher priced one 700ish
