SAVC-R Scramble Button?

I'm trying to find out some more about the scramble feature on my AVC-R. Such as where have people installed the button. I can't think of anywhere to put that dang thing without buying an aftermarket wheel and hub. I'm also curious as to what settings you guys are running. I've searched and searched (so don't flame me ) and can't find anyone talking about it. If you guys can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the help.

sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

On my Honda Integra I installed the button on the topside of the plastic cover for the ignition near the back so it would be out of sight. Just put it were you and your passengers will not casually bump into it.

Hey Sapper,

Are you stationed at Campbell? If you are, what color is your Evo?

NBC is our old acronym. It is now CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear). We're you 12 series? I was with a Combat Engineer unit at Fort Lewis for a little bit.

CBRN? My brother re-classed chemical right before he went into recruiting so I should have known that. LOL Yeah I was an engineer the whole time I was in. Engineers has to be one of the coolest jobs in the army. Loved it.

Their is not an extra button that comes with it. It's a feature built into the AVC-R that allows you to boost to a preset level past what your normal boost setting is.

For example say you normally boost 20psi at 30% duty(just an example) and you set your scramble up to boost 23psi at 40%duty(just an example). Once you engage the scramble it will change your max boost from 20psi to 23 psi for a set amount of time.

You have to wire a pushbutton up to the AVC-R to use it. Their is an extra wire on the harness fo it. Your's should have it. Go into your settings and scroll down and you should see a menu labeled scramble.

I'm trying to find other peple who have wired theirs up so I can see where they mounted the button. I'd like to mount mine as ergonomically and cleanly as I can.
