if i eliminate turbo, the engine and ecu still works fine?

if i eliminate turbo, the engine and ecu still works fine?

if i get rid of the turbo on evo. does engine and ecu still runs fine?
just curious to know.

proabbly not since the ecu is expecting the turbo and compensates for it by giving more fuel etc when the turbo kicks in. proabbly could get it reflashed.

actually i have 1999 saab9-5 v6 single turbo baby size...my turbo is blown...
i dont want spend money on this car and get rid of it.
so i thought if i could eliminate the turbo and sell it.....
maybe i just hollow inside the turbo (remove the turbin) so i could sell it~

it will perfectly fine! good luck to your performance modification im sure you will get like 35+ hp, and take pictures of it and post in the howto so we can all remove our turbos

yeah u should remove the turbo and run nitrous, like a 200 shot. it should be a good nitrous motor without the turbo , and it should run fine without the turbo . the turbo isnt always making boost. the motor does run in a vaccum. so the ecu would obviously just refer to those load points and run accordingly. BUT WHY???
