Is this normal? (stock advan tires)
Washed the evo Friday.... parked it in the garage for the extended holiday weekend. Tuesday I try to back out of the garage and the car doesnt move! I had to give it more gas than usual then i feel the tires break free and the car starts moving.
Best way to describe it, the tires were stuck to the floor! i dunno if it was a combination of wet advans or the tire shine stuff i put on it.
anyone else experience this???

If the Floor is painted that is very common, usually you don't really feel the sticking but since evos are manual it might augment the feeling. In my shop when i go to move one of the classics, like my 73 MG midget, i get the same thing so i started putting the car on pieces of plywood, its better for the tires. If you gonna leave a Car in the Same spot for a couple days the plywood isn't really worth it, but if its gonna stay there for like 2 weeks at a time I would do it.
Yep happens to me all the time when it's raining, snowing or after I wash the car. Give it some gas it and it breaks free because the brakes seem like they get all rusty after it touches water.

yeah the area where i keep the MG has a Cheap paint on the Floor and sometimes it sticks to the tires, But with the Concoction of water and whatever ever tire shines and wheel cleaning chemicals he may of used could have caused the tires to stick to the floor. Even on the bare concrete sections if i leave a car there for a while the tire will develop a flat spot and give a false feeling of sticking.
no that means you put water on the rotors, the corrosion goes away for a few times braking, like before you get around the block the corrosion will be gone. You rotors will not look rusted they just turn kinda orange.
