NY plates!!!
NY plates!!!
Me and a friend were thinking about this (dont know if anyone else had the same thought). We live in NY and one thing that annoys us is having a license plate on the front and back of the car. I think NY is one of the few states that requires that!!...We were thinking of getting in contact with some officials or writing a letter (dont know exactly who to write it to) and asking them if we could pay some sort of fee per year to not have it on the front...Just wondering what you NY evos thought about that?!?!..and if its been done sorry didnt know!

I'm glad Pennsylvania doesn't. Its about the only state in the NE that does not require a front plate. Besides the evo I have an Rx-8 and the front plate blocks almost the entire radiator opening. And rotaries run hot to begin with.

In NY its only a $35.00 fine and no points, I will never have a front plate on any of my cars. In fact.. I just had the holes on my 993 TT Porsche bumber filled and the bumper repainted....And thats that....
My mom had a license plate frame that covered up half of the county name at the bottom of her license plate and got a ticket. You could see everything else fine. I didnt know the county was even required.
It doesnt look terrible. BUt why drill extra holes into your car? Thats stupid.
