On one car I have a 2-way w/ built in TT.

The other car I have an alarm with an Apexi TT. You'll need ti wire in two relays to get it to be able to arm while the car is running.

Does it arm while the car is running or after it shuts off? I want a alarm that is a 2-stage where it chirps if your walking withen like 2feet of it. And then it goes off if its struck.

Youll have to arm the car yourself when you get out. I had to play with the shock sensor on the car with the Apexi TT cause if it it set too sensitive the car running will set it off.

Your best bet is to get an alarm with a built in TT if you want it to arm after the car shuts off. You cannot do this with the alarm being seperate from the TT. Youll have to arm it your self

My alarm w/ built in TT will arm itself after the car shuts off or you can manualy arm it while its still running (Agian you'll need to adjust the shock sensor). With this setup youll need to set the TT every time.

I have a button 1 press = 1 minute

Code Alarm CA550. Has a TT integrated w/ it...but to be honest...I never use it.

I couldn't use the remote start feature either because the install place said it would be too dangerous to bypass the clutch, they didn't want to take the liability risk, which is understandable.

You can find one online for about $170 if you know how to install. At the shops you'll probably pay around $450 or so for it (installed).

I know man...I asked the same thing. But every place in my town was charging that or higher for the same models and sometimes even a lessor model.

I had one very reputable shop quote me $550 installed for a crimestopper w/ remote start...but that one was a "lessor version" of the code alarm that I actually got installed for $450.

Sooo I still got a deal relative to the other shops in town. I remember I asked how much of that price went to the installer and he wouldn't tell me...

But If I have any problems I take it back to them and they take care of everything for free no questions asked.
