the evo feels much more like a 3.0L V6 then an I4

I am just relaying the thread. I love the Evo.

Woooww.. with all the problems with our Evo tranny that been floating around.. this is really making me think twice.......
So ummm............. I thinking Im going to have to trade my Silver Evo in for a Brand New STI............................................... ....Blue Colour EVO. Yes ill go with a Blue EVO this time

No matter what others say I love my Evo Nothing people say is going to make me Chnacge my mind of picking the STI over the Evo

You know, the defensive once about their rides are the once who are insecured about what they drive whether they made the right decision buying their car. Lets just say that if the STI handles a little better with more power, I wouldn't sit here in front of my keyboard defending my EVO that it is better this way or that way. We can have more fun hanging out together and kill the rest that's on the road. If all these STI owners know for a fact that their cars are better than an EVO, whats more better than ignoring all the dumb comments and prove it on the road or race track. The condition will always vary whether someone on the faster car has a bad driver or the other guy has a slightly modded EVO vs. a stock STI that's why the EVO won. And who the hell cares about stock comparison, if you weren't into performance modification, you wouldn't be here on the board or forums. Start comparing cars after some modificaition because that's where the fun begins. EVO's and STI's are both great cars so to all narrow minded EVO owners and STI owners, stop being a baby.

 

I think it is just justification for their second thoughts on a car, which they thought would rule the world. When there are just as good or better cars out there.

 

Noone said the STI was a piece of **** in this thread .. I think the EVO and STI are both great ****ing cars .... but to say Mitsu's have no Torque is just plain stupid

**** I'm glad the EVO / STI made its way over here. I'm driving a car I used to pick in a video game on the PS1 when I was growing up ... how cool is that ?

I would take an EVO over and STi, and yuo know what, all my Mitsu-hatin' WRX owners would do the same thing.

 

yes ... and ...OWN is a very strong word ... and so much depends upon the driver.... people used to look at me in disbelief when I told them I could take just about any Z06 up to 100MPH in my 2G (almost stock) ... hey .. **** it ... can't help people can't drive their vettes
