I just did a search about the Invidia o2 housing. Someone with an Evo 9 MR had a problem fitting this o2 housing to the turbo side. He said the holes did not match up, but he got it to fit anyway and said he gained some power. I guess he got it modified to fit.

yes as i beleave b/r had the same problem. it did see gains in his test but i think it was the last amount of gains out of all the o2 housings he tested. the ebay o2 was the best one and the cheepest.

I completely dismiss such claims. If there is one thing Works can bragg about is bulkyness(very solid built) and fittment. They spent hundreds of hours into this housing, the heat shiel fits like a glove and the mounting bracket also fits.

Carlos, Vigo said the INVIDIA O2 HOUSING - you're talking about Works. The Invidia does have fitment problems, but Works does not...of course, neither does the regular SS O2 from Ebay.

I completely respect your opinion and in fact I don't doubt it. I know for a fact that Works came out with their o2 housing with the market goal of having this unique 02 housing to fit exclusively on their own 3"downpipe.

I would not doubt for a split of second that they realized that it was much better profit wise to offer some sort of "gasket kit" that would allow you to fit their 02 hsouing to any other rerquired 3"size competitor downpipe. So your comments totally makes sense to me.

Thanks for the correction Clayton. Either way Clayton, I concur with your statements from page one, I rather would spent the money on a ebay unit plus some cams or alky.

just for the record i was not snaping at you or warr. i was just letting the thread know that the work's housing will work with the stock d/p or any d/p that bolts to the stock o2housing. they send this odd looking thing that go's with the gasket somehow to make it work. but if you use there 3'' d/p then the adaptor part is no good.

Off course you weren't. You are OK, we were just addressing some options here. You actually brought up a great benefitial point, you let everyone know that Works now offers this "gasket kit" that allows you to fit the Works o2 housing into any other 3"downpipe so my credit to you.

Injected Performance says it's 2.9 inches at the outlet. Did you measure it yourself and actually came up with 2.75 inch?. On Lancer Shop's site it says the same thing.

To bad the SS-autochrome doesn't have a bracket for the heat shield.
