Two new reasons I love my Evo
So, I've had my evo for a few months now and everyday i'm excited everyday when i wake up to drive to school. Two days ago, i got into my car and my entire car was covered in frost... the rear windsheild wiper is awsome! also, i was driving down a road by my school and i hit a patch of ice.. my car went sideways and all i did was point the wheel straight and it went back to normal. i was very happy and glad to be in the evo...
i love my car too, but i hate it in snow, when i try to break on snow or ice the abs kicks in, and it's so weird cause i am not used to MITSU's or something, cause when i drive my dad's ML500 on snow or ice, it's awsome. but overall . i love my car!!!

yeah, thats what i've heard. i haven't really had mine for long enough to drive it in the snow, but when i do I'll be taking out the jeep w/ the 5.7L, its sweet
I hope you guys arent driving on the stock advans in the winter. Again. This has been on going forever. Ditch the advans in poor weather conditions. I dont even drive my car when the temp is below 40 or if there is precip in the forcast. But thats just me.

yeah i know the stock advan sucks in snow, but winter is almost over, and my other set of rims has toyo proxy 4 on it, so i don't think it help, but mitsu's abs... needs time to get used to. oh yea, and the evo is the only car i can take to work everyday
I dont think you understand me. Advans are death in the snow. Soooooooooooooooo many people on this forum have lost their cars because of this. This has been ongoing since 2003. Winter is almost over but it takes .5 to 1 in of snow to send you into a guardrail or someones car or someones kid. Thats a big gamble to take.
But with the first snow that I had my Evo in (on the stock Advans), I couldn't even make it out of my own subdivision without almost banging curb after curb (they do not stop you for s#!t on snow. I was only going about 3-4 mph. You can save some money if you just put on metal wheels and caps if that is the issue. I guess it depends on how much snow you get where you live though. To me, having my car and myself safe is priority #1. (notice I said my car before myself , lol, jk )
