seems like they just want to take it for a joy ride...doesnt look like a pro. imo because they did take the time to f**ked the inside. probably somebody you cut off the freeway or somewhere and followed you i would guess.
That is the worst keying I have every scene. I am so sorry, I dont even know what I would do if this happended to me. I dont think the insurance company can total a 30+ thousand dollar car for just asthetic repairs, as long as they can fix your ignition column everything else is just not that hard to fix, just replace it all.
Best of luck on getting it fixed, and you back on the road quickly. When you get her back you really need to keep it in a garage or somewhere where you can at least hear or see it, just my 0.02

Thats ALOT of damage bro , I would have gone APE **** . It happens but i have a suggestion for your next car , Removable steering wheel , Alram , and loud sirens to blow thier eardrums . That might help out if your luck is Sh!tty enough to happen again

well i got my estimate from my insurance rep and he said it's going to cost $16k to get it fixed right. They are 50/50 on wether they are going to total it or repair it.
