Yeah, I do know what it feels like. It sucks big time. I have never understood vandals. I mean for what a stereo, maybe somebodies wallet with $10 bucks. I guess it was prob. somebody that does not have anything nice in there lives or some little punk *** kid that his mommy and daddy does not give him enough attention. Again, I am truly sorry to hear about this and I really hope there is a day of reckoning to the person or people that did this to you!

I agree - they should be locked up, along with their parents, and the key should be thrown away (and flogged daily). No-one has any excuse for doing this - if you can't afford something nice - don't destroy someone elses hard earned assets - go out and educate yourself so you can earn your own money. So many kids (and parents) are so LAZY that they expect money to just fall in to their laps without doing any work, and when it doesn't they take "revenge" on other people.

They need to increase the punishment for vandalism. If someone steals to feed their family, it's at least understandable (but still wrong - get a job!), but willful destruction of someone elses property is simply EVIL. They should be given 10yr MINIMUM sentences, and they should bring back corporal punishment (lashes, beating, flogging, etc). The crime rate would drop pretty darn quick. Petty crime is almost non-existant in some countries that still do that (of course, it needs to be proven without a doubt that you ARE the perpetrator, which is a different can of worms - lawyers that win cases when they know their client is guilty is another problem).

Modern society is far too soft on criminals. If those criminals don't want to follow society rules, then they should be put on an island so they can live with their own kind.

Good luck on getting the car fixed, and my sympathies to you!

Thanks!

S.

The insurance companies cannot do that to you - you can get them in court for that.

We've had a few people bring their cars to our shop because they were friends with a worker/or the owner, and the insurance companies threw a fit. Threaten suit, and they'll shut up.

Although, they will then become uber-lazy (asif they arn't already) and you'll end up waiting awhile to get the job done - but you can take care of that in court as well if that turns into an issue.
