I'm still debating between the 264's and 272's. . .thought I'd ask u, since I'm thinking of going down the same path. . .
I have the excedy heavy duty (hd) twin disk clutch. It's a great clutch but for daily driving it can get annoying sometimes. Plus, I'm stuck in 20 miles of traffic to and from work each day..

The idle is like stock now. David worked his but off tuning the AEM to get the idle just right. The end result is just un-real! Idle's perfect now!

Good to hear from you Kee1pride! Thanks for the positive remarks! I'm pretty sure there's more in the car. I just hope there's more in me for driving it!

Nvr2old32's first comparison tuned by Al seems super weak! 263/251? but your second is great

Yeh, big difference. I just wanted to show where I was with fewer parts over a year ago. You'll notice I listed the parts for comparison #1 and 2.

awesome, that'll really put the power down for sure!

I just got an ACT (stock went out at 31k!, wtf?!) with street disc and couldn't be happier, it's a little stiffer, but after driving my brother's stage II Exedy on his Sti, I was a little hesitant. . .hmmm, near perfect idle huh? I'm sure Turbo Trix or Al could do that for me then, they're both pretty close by. . .

I can't guarantee you without having an AEM that your's would also be as good as stock, but I've heard the 272's on the stock ECU could be tuned pretty well close.

It's amazing if you were standing next to my car, you can't really tell I have cams. The exhaust isn't that loud either. I've got Burshur's Magnaflow muffler on there and the car is really quite. David even said one day while road tunning it that he couldn't believe how quiet the car was!

sweet numbers. That is the same setup I am gunning for exept for the aem ems. I am either going to do the IX 20g or the ams 50 trim. I cant decide whether to go big or keep that drivability. Let me know what you think.
