Hello everyone, my name is Aden. Just want to introduce myself. I got my silver Evo more than 3wks ago and already has more than 1k miles on it. For those Chicagoland Evo owners out there, just wondering if you guys are interested in getting together at Greatlakesdragaway in Union Grove, WI to run your car. I'm interested in seeing how I run, especially before I make any mods. I personally like to go on a weekday, because there won't be many people there and that means you can run as many times as you want without having to wait in line like Six Flags. What about Joliet? It's supposed to be a nicer track than Union Grove.

They have test and tune night on Tuesdays.

 

Rt. 66 is a MUCH nicer track than Great Lakes. But, it is also $10 more, and usually has a ton more cars that show up, so you'll likely get only a couple of runs in.

The other consideration is Byron. And rumor has it that the track runs downhill But their test-n-tune days are only on the weekends.

I'm considering heading down to Joliet tomorrow. Anyone else going?

Ok, just checked Rt. 66's schedule and there's no racing tomorrow. Looks like the only action is gonna have to be at the Grove.

 

I can't make it tomorrow b/c I am leaving on a business trip.

Maybe next week or some other time.

 

Any track is fine, but I'll be on vacation from June 10-16. Just PM or email me whenever and wherever you guys decide to go. It looks like Da Grove has Tuesday and Wenesday (5-10pm) open this week, Import Wars on the 1st (9-5pm), and one more fun racing on the 3rd (5-10pm), before my vacation. I was thinking of Tuesday the 3rd, if you guys are interested. I'm gonna probably go check out Import Wars, but not race. Anyone know Byron's website?
