Well guys, my evo is getting ready for install within the next week or so. Right now i'm running a 3" exhaust w/test pipe, and what's going on will be a Buschur 3" dp, Buschur ported exhaust manifold, Walbro 255, JDM MR BOV, Works drop in, HKS EBC, and Buschur shifter bushings. Oh and a reflash. Well for now, i think the next things i'll be getting will be GSC 272's, LICP, ss02 housing, and maybe a bigger intercooler. What do you guys think? Need some suggestions, i'm trying to hit high 11's this year. Any input would be great, thanks.

 

w/ a good tune on stock turbo just some practice on launching and fast shifting.

a good 60ft will help (anything below 1.8)

Dump the JDM MR dv and get a Forge RS recirc, meth kit, custom tune, and crank up the boost. Oh and ARP headstuds and thicker head gasket as insurance for the higher boost.

You misspelled "diamonds" there boostin. It's missing a D.

whats a thicker HG gonna do for higher boost?? plenty high HP evo's run stock Mitsu Headgasket.

Read all the advice so my next question is which brand for an alky kit? For a 50trim though, which brand would be a better choice, Buschur or AMS? I don't want a turbo too big to cause some major lag since this is my daily driver. If all else i'm thinking of just getting the 20-g9 done by Buschur for more power and see if i'm still craving more after that.
