70 awhp gain on tune!!

i got my evo IX MR tuned like 5 months ago before i got a boost controller and i had 234 awhp... and now i got a Greddy pro fect B and i got it tuned to it 2day!!! and i made 300.0 awhp!! i gained almost 70 hp on a boost controller so im pretty exited!

This is just boost controller and tune? No other mods? Exhaust? Intake? Etc.?

i had intake and blow off before i got the first tune... and i set the boost at 21 lbs..soOo

well intake does lil and blow off does nothing.. 21 psi and a tune and you yielded 300 whp?

who tuned you?

It's important to mention the type of dyno, because dyno numbers aren't universal. It's always awesome to gain 70whp at once with so little, but it's also important to remember that something may have been wrong before, and now you are where other IXs are with MBC + tune (if it's a Dynojet).

wow that's sick! recently i've been contemplating on whether to upgrade to an ebc sometime soon, and if you can make power gains like that and hold consistent boost, then i think my decision is pretty clear cut. any other mods??

That explains it. He had those terrible noob mods that all noobs seem to do, which was screwing up his power, and now his car is back to where it should be. IXs do hit 300whp on Dynojets with just an MBC and tune - it happens all the time. Add the exhaust for 330 and raise the boost for 340-350.

You can also do it with an $85 MBC.

the dyno was a All-Wheel-Drive Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer.....
