stock IX turbo vs 20g-9 or LT

I've already researched this and just want confirmation that replacing the stock 03 turbo 9.8 hotside with a 20g will net approx 30+ whp, would the gain be equal with a stock IX turbo and how much more could the LT possible make on pump? pump meth?

mods gsc272, tbe, mbc@ 22psi pump/26meth, XS-FMIC, the only differance would be turbo, is it worth it to go the LT route or save and go stock IX and save for a 50trim or larger in the future if at all?

Go into the turbo/drivetrain forum section this is being discussed about peoples results with their car and setup everywhere.

One guy showed he netted something like 30whp on our pathetic 91 octane here in California. I'm certain the gains would be alot better if he wasn't running only 22psi and the crappy gas, HFC, etc...

Just look in the first two pages of threads and start reading some of them.

i would like to know what the 20g9-5 turbo would do on an evo 8 in stead of useing the evo9 turbo.

testing as shown average 20whp increase from going to an evo8 turbo to the evo 9 turbo with no problems. now who about the 20g9-5 on the evo 8?? and what is the problems it has?? dident the older 20g's have all kinds of issues like compressure surging and whatnot???

Why choose the 20g-9-5 with the FP green (aka 20g-LT) out there? The turbo was developed in response to the problems with the older 20g's.

Now the 20g-LT with the high pressure waste gate has a bit of a boost hump but apparently is "normal behavior", the normal actuator doesn't do this. Far as a pump gas turbo goes the 20g-LT is seemingly really hard to beat only topped by laggier turbo's.

According to buschur it seems impossible to make the 20g-LT surge though on the other hand i did read once someone was experiencing mild boost creep of about 2psi.
