Another hks rs intake thread

I tried searching but didn't really find anything.

I've heard/read that the hks rs intake filter doesn't filter real good. It flows good but little trash still gets through it. Does anybody have any answer for this? If it doesn't filter well, Can you double filter it? I already have the intake so, I just wanna be safe.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

Sure did, I got the apexi from sp-engineering.

For the people that say the hks filter is ok take it off and look inside the intake pipe.

No problems out of mine yet. I live in an area with very little dust though.

I live on the coast in mississippi, a block from the beach. There's times when it gets windy and sand blows. I did take off the filter and checked inside. It is a lil dirty. I'll get another filter asap. Thanks
