I love the Recaros and I always incline it a lil lower than 45 degree angle and it works for me... i can't drive with the seat all straight up now that position is really uncomfortable and will give me headaches and back pains.

I drove from Pennsylvania to Florida in a day - my back never once felt anything but awesome.

Make sure your rear is as far back in the seat as is comfortable and the seat back angle is more vertical then horizontal. If you go gangsta style in a racing seat you're a) stupid and b) gonna hurt

It seems that the seat fit really good for someone but not for some depending on their size.
It seems that generally this is not a problem for ppl with healthy back.
For ppl like me, long drive seem to be a problem, but maybe fixable with seat adjustment.

I hope adjustment would fix it, not really want to buy a support pillow,
it doesn't look right with the recaro....
its just a little black pillow and who the helll is gonna see it when your driving lol....

I Love my Recaros!! Great grip on the body!!!
However, As I drove my car back from Cleveland area (about 3 hr drive), I did find my back to be a little sore.

The shape of the Recaros promote the proper driving position. So if you like to be more laid back, that support is in the wrong spot on your back. Thus, being uncomfortable. I figured that out when I first picked up my car.
