I'm in Japan right now, been here for a couple weeks so far. Haven't seen anything special.. parts are about the same price or more expensive then back in the states. Though the only good part is some of the whole sale or used part places.. Want an Evo 6 wing? No prob =P
Only thing I picked up so far here is a Japanese Evo 9/Evo Wagon broscher (or however you spell it.) I'll prolly buy a catch can before I leave but nothing is to grand over here.
Don't come for the cars alone, its not Tokyo Drift over here.. go and see the sights and events.

of course this is all true, we dont expect to see skylines driving around, but while we are there we will be sight seeing, along with going to car events, underground shows, and going into some of the rare japanese shops like top secret and other stuff like that

Got my passport, almost ran out of pages from going back and fwd to Argentina . Anyways I just wanted to add that I might be able to get 2 round trips (standby) from Delta. Also I have a time share and I can make a reservation now. Also if anybody else is in the East Coast near me, I can get them to the West coast for free. That's all from me.

J-ondemand is always having tours. last tour was last month and our guests had a blast. Japan is a place where you need to go with someone who knows their way around and shops. you cannot just bulge into the shop and say hi. You need an appt for you to come take their time. We will be having our next tour in may 5th-13th. there is an import show in japan. I will with Varis and you guys are welcome to come. Please email me or pm me for more details. Our 2008 Tokyo AutoSalon tour will start in July since the hotels around there are getting booked right now. Please ask for more details.
