Well, I'm sold

I took a Evo 9 SE (non-mr) out for a test drive today and all i can say is holy ****! i'm pretty much sold on evos. i liked my subbies but the interior room in the evo is un beatable. the only gripe i have is the shifter was a little "different". it felt like a SRT-4 i drove in once. and i didn't have much time to adjust the seat to get comfortable. but anyways, does anyone have any interior reviews i could read up on?

Interior reviews for what? Didn't you drive one? There's nothing to review in our interior. It's pure function over form.

^ I agree, but personally I don't mind the simplified interior. The seats are great! Good luck!

i'd like to be seated comfortably. i guess instead of a "review" i'd like some input from owners whose had thier car for a while and what they like, dislike about it.

Yah know I used to think that but I think the Evo interior is actually better now that I've lived with it for coupla months.

But it's a subjective opinion for sure.

There's nothing I dislike about the interior. Does that help?

The car drives comfortably. That's the most important part.

The only thing I would change would be to add a telescoping steering wheel for more fine-tuning of driving position and better utilization of the stupid "Lancer" area in the cluster. Maybe make the fog indicator a color further from blue so it would be easier to see if your brights are on with a quick glance.

Other than that, it is all pretty functional. It could be a little prettier, but at least it isn't distracting in its current state. Most everything seems solid and it is all simple to disassemble when you need to tinker with something.

My only gripe with the interior is the small rattles.
