cold weather= power
Went out last night for dinner and the temperature was around 18 degrees. I swear the car felt like i just added 50whp more. I definetly took the long way home and had a little fun, especially on the highway!
cold air does = more power. Not 50whp but it can add up to 20whp on turbo cars such as EVOs from say 90 deg F to 18 deg F like you were in. It makes perfect sense. Cold air is denser therefore more air actually enters your engine. Combine the appropriate amount of fuel and you got more power.

I didnt literally mean 50whp.Just using that number to describe how much faster the car felt. And you guys stop picking on Clay (warrtalon) because he,s the man. Just ask him.(LOL).
everythings great until you hit some ice and spin your wheels, dont get too excited in that below freezing weather with your evo's, they are awd but ice is very dangerous and more power there doesnt help.

The roads were dry. I,m not going to risk my life or car,or someone elses life or car just to have some fun. When the roads are slick i drove with common sense. I,m 50 not 17.

Not a conspiracy theorist, but I'm starting to think the same thing.
