my evo 9 mr just got dynoed!
both of you guys have great numbers especially for the 20psi...
me before i was cammed i saw 325 at 22psi spike but with a high flow cat, not a test pipe...
if you install a mbc and raise the boost to ~22psi you will definitely see more than 320whp...

Dyno numbers vary from dyno to dyno so the 1/4 mile is a great way to gauge the actual power your car is making. So for the guys saying his car is making little power for the mods he has, take your car to the strip and see what your trap speed is.
I only have an Apexi filter + box, mbc @ 22.7psi, custom tune, downpipe, and test pipe and I trap at 108.96 - 109.21 which would put me in the area of 340-350awhp based on the typical dynojet reading. The trap speeds are with knock (because I swapped some parts after my custom tune) which pulls a bit of timing.

My buddy with a 05 Evo8 pulled 305 whp with just a TBE all RS*R btw Injen Upper IC pipe and Intake, Sard BOV and a jester tune on a dynojet in hawaii on our brand new AWD dyno.. so to me is all about tunning and his map was agressive but with marginal safety aswell.. I think we read like 10:9 on his A/F @ 7K
Now my best friend on his IX which has all the bolt ons besides, a manifold and cams was able to obtain 358AWHP Imagine what some cams and a manifold along with some race gas would do.. also re-tuning and this time tweaking the mivec as it hasn't been touched.. IX's are def.. more mod friendly as more options are available.. cnt wait till someone masters mivec..
anyways to the idiot who said why no evo IX is running 9's well all i have to say time will tell..

Also forgot to add the track was slower than normal. It was a cloudy day, humidity was extremely high (rain the day before), traction was low. We got shut down because it started raining. I was also taking it a tad bit easy because I was there mainly to do datalogs. Also remember dynojets read higher than most dynos out there. From all the different types of dynos and calibration methods, I would average to about 320awhp.
