Whats the Problem, do you see smoke, smell burning oil. We need a symptom before anyone can diagnose the car.

Smoke out of the hood and smell of burning oil ,that sounds like a problem. Definitely not normal.

Is it smoke out of the pipe or the usual "steam" that comes out of any exhaust when it's cold? Could it be water/condensation burning off the manifold from under the hood?

I have not had that with my car. Granted I do not drive my car a whole lot during the winter months when it gets really cold, and I keep it in a heated garage. How much white smoke is coming out of the tailpipe? Some is normal when it is cold out.

weather

Blue smoke out of the hood is definitely not good. I would think the only thing to cause that would be oil leaking out and burning off of the exhaust somewhere The white smoke out of the tailpipe is normal, especially when the daytime highs in this area have been 0-10F It's not as much smoke, as just simply the exhaust gases being visible because of the cold @$$ weather.

if you are catless the white smoke out of the tailpipe is normal. Even with a Cat you can get it. But Blue smoke from the hood isn't Possibly you dipstick may have come out. Somehow oil got out of the motor and onto something hot to give you a blue smoke.

well i checked everywere under the hood n nothing is out of the normal nothin leaking and nothhing was off like the dip stick n the smoke coming out of the tail pipe ingalped the car it was way more then normal and the blue smoke was oil somwere under the hood but we could not find the spot... could it be because it was soo cold that oil seal on the turbo leaked and blew oil into the intake which would cause the bluish smoke out the tailpipe but still a mistery for under the hood...

The first thing to check is crankcase venting. A buildup of pressure in the crankcase will cause the turbo to oil the exhaust and maybe push oil through a seal. The vent lines might have collected moisture and have frozen shut in the very cold weather we've been having.
