1) insurance (even for perfect driving record)
2) people race up and cut in front of me (why?)
3) urge to mod

No issues with the car itself, bought it for what it is.

 

1) No cruise
2) Gauges never seem to be bright enough at night
3) Gauges don't have enough contrast.. dark red on black= not very legible
4) Crap UV protection on my CF Wing
5) Hate the stock '05 tail lights (bought JDMs)
6) Stupid nose in the air look but I just cant bring myself to lower it.

Other than that, the rest of the car suits me just fine.

 

Been there and done that and, sure while a fairly good level of performance can be had from a swapped hatch, it hails in comparison to the evo. The evo at least has some comfort and isnt so loud inside the car you cant hear the radio. Ive built hondas, and sure for 12K you might have a honda that dominates the evo in one specific category, you arent going to have a honda be as good "all around" as the evo.

The evo was built as a drivers car, its not a luxury car, it was built with a purpose in mind...if you want more for your money get a bimmer as stated before.

The only thing I can say is that I DO wish it had cruise control.

 

Hmmmm........ 10 things I dislike about my EVO........

1. No cruise control.
2. No expresso machine.
3. No lumbar and back massager.
4. No free oil change.
5. No free tires.
6. Should have came with 1000awhp/awtq.
7. No free insurance, expensive as heck to insure.
8. Should have came with a "Kit" package like in Knight Rider.
9. Should have came with a porta potty because most people don't want to get out of the car. Too much fun to drive.
10. Last but least, should have came with a super model.

 

cruise control is no biggy...but the turning radius does suck....i forgot to put that on my list

evo is a great all around car and great dd too...

 

just so you know the MR isnt the only one w/ the boost guage....i have an RS w/ one.....it just depends if the car was orderd with them or not.

-paint sucks
-wing paint sucks
-brake paint sucks
-throwing 02 sensor code with brand new 02 sensor installed
-its so fast and loud now that I cant get on it on the highway because I'm scared to lose my license.

Jeez, HOW DARE I talk about the Evolution like that!? Pfft.
I forgot that the Evolution is the most perfect car on the road today. It has nothing wrong with it, and it's owners would never change anything on it. Yeah right. Snap into reality people.

I noticed several people mentioned it not having cruise control. What if I responded to them with a ,"if you want cruise control, get a BMW, this isn't a luxury car, it's a race car blah blah blah".
Seriously people, just grow up. Some of you are so easily threatened by what's said about the car.
These responses kind of look like what you would see in the srtforums.
And I know we're better than that.

Yeah, a couple people already mentioned that. Thanks, I kinda figured it was optional on the RS/GSR but wasn't sure.

 

For you people bemoaning no cruise, for one day's work at my piddling around speed and about $250 in parts, I had cruise. I use it constantly and it works great.

Since this is such an easy install, I can't see the lack of cruise as a valid complaint about the car.

 

My Evo lacks:

1) Factory installed 2-stage nitrous system
2) Trailer hitch
3) Curb feelers
4) Valet switch
