Tips for not spinning out of the whole?
Your probably right. I may need to get some better "good gripping" tires.
I don't know a lot about tires but which ones would you and anyone else recommend that would be good at the track and in the rain? The reason is that I don't want to buy another set of rims to mount them on.. If I go to a different set of tires, I'm going to use them throughout the year and then just switch them back to the Yokahoma's in the winter..
Thanks for your feedback!

Tire pressure is extremly important, to low and you will just bog though, If you really have a nice track, not busy at all, and 4 friends. Get four tire pressure gauges, have the 4 friends sign your waiver as pit crew members. Inflate your tires to about 40 psi, pass the water pit, go right to the burnout box, do a quick slip launch, quicker than normal, roast them a little bit, until you get to the top of first, then just toss it in reverse, have your friends drop the pressure to whatever seems to be working best that night. Seems like a lot of work, but its worth it, if you cant do that, and dont mind breaking stuff, just leave the tire pressure the same and dump your clutch in the burnout box, it will raise your tire temp just a little bit, but that will make you hook ten times better. (got my 60's from around 1.8 to mid to low 1.7's on stock clutch)
Snow tires are very soft and the side walls are flexable, both create a better hook of the line. Drag radials would be best they are soft, large tread blocks, and very flexable sidewall.
Lower the press to about 20 psi
Kartarailed hows that 75 shot work for you? I was thinking about going the nitrous route

and for the record you want to spin a little out of the hole, you don't want it to grip too hard IMO.
Snow tires with low pressure seems to work really well because the compound is soft.
I don't use them but I was told to by a reliable (very reliable) source.
I run avon tech m500 tires and lower the pressure to 20psi....and I launch at 6500rpm.
It took me a long time to figure out how to launch, and after someone showed me the light I was all good.....now I need someone to teach me how to shift.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.. Sounds like lowering the tire pressue should help quite a bit. I will start doing that to figure which pressure works best.. Still going to get a good set up tires too! I'm sure that will as well!
Good luck to everyone at the track this season! I want my 11.5 as she is now!
