Non-Metal Shift Knobs for Evo -- Recommendations?

Now that it's officially freezing here, that aluminum shift knob isn't very appealing. Feels like I'm getting a wart frozen off anytime I touch the thing.

Anyone have recommendations on a replacement knob for these colder months?

TIA!

HKS special edition resin knob.

Sparco plastic ones, Razo got few of them.

Ichiban's got some nice plastic ones.

Try nopionline.com

They got ton and a half of shifters.

Momo racing leather is nice too.

You could try some mugen ones as well.

I feel your pain...I had an aluminum shift knob in my Vette...it looked awesome, but was freezing cold in the winter and worse, it was hot enough to give you a blister in the summer.

the aluminum is stock on the MR.

a call to the dealer today revealed that there isn't a non-metal replacement. plokivos, thanks for the suggestions, will check 'em out.

I've found that leather gloves work nicely with my aluminum shift knob. Only problem now is when I first get into the car, condensation on the knob makes it hard to grip.

There's no way to make that sound right.

Just grab the lever underneath the knob. I shift that way most of the time anyway as it shortens up the throw. The stock knob is nice looking but very slick..I always wear driving gloves becasue they give me better grip and I don't get the leather on my wheel dirty.
