I bought Greddy Ti , but before I had a chance to put it on, while driving in Brooklyn yesterday I was pulled over for my loud exhaust. Currently haven 3" RnR TBE. Greddy Ti was in my back seat when this happened lolz

Anyway. How hard is to put in and out the silencer ? I have no choice but to drive with the silencer in the city, and just take it out when I do AutoX or Track days.

How hard is it? Cake actually. If you have 2 minutes you've got time to put it in. Just carry some gloves and maybe a towel to wrap the thing in, because it is going to get BLACK with carbon buildup and it's a messy job handling it.

Just try to keep your foot off the gas pedal when you see the cops around

 

Its not loud.............just turn your radio volume up.

 

I have the greddy TI and also live in NY. The silencer quiet the exhaust down a lot, I have mine on when driving on the street, I only have it off when autoxing and track days. As Corey said, Taking the silencer on and off only takes a few mins.

greddy Ti is loud, even with the silencer i think it passes 95dB

i have an open dump on my car... when i see a cop i press the clutch in and coast by....

my idle with open dump is louder than when i have the dump closed at wot lol

i have a stock catback....

just make sure the bolt that holds the silencer is tight when you put it on, I have a friend with a greddy ti that shot his silencer out while he was driving pretty hard LOL

 

it takes two seconds to change out silencer but you can still get pulled over for it...

Thats a good idea and to add to it, I would try and keep my rpms low (higher gears) while driving in the city (in other words, no WOT). Good luck, it's a great exhaust.

 

the bolt holding on the silencer for my gretty ti snapped when i reved passed 4k
