I washed the Evo at least once a wk, and it hasn't been the case with the MCS or the other cars.
Everytime i washed it, keep starring at it, what a car and how lucky we are

Wash once a week, and use Eagle wax as you dry. Detail with Meguiars every two days, windex the rims almost daily. Keep garaged every night, under a canopy at my store every day.

No, I am not obsessed... much...

Black, needs a wash at least every 3 days, kind of a pain in the *** but it's worth it!

2 times a week on Tuesday and Friday, unless it rains. Keep garaged every night.

man, twice a week will give you guys hella wash swirls/marks.

Make sure you go always wash and wax your car in the same direction, if your car is black anyways (like mine).

Also, I know this isnt a car wash tips thread but try and use one bucket of water and soap on your rims and tires first, then empty the bucket out and do your body. I always do rims and tires first because if you do them last, the water will dry on your body before you get a chance to dry it off! Water marks suck, especially if your on well water.

I don't wash my car with a brush/mit/rag - in my experience powerwashing does a better job cleaning and prevents more scratches. and I ususally wax my car monthly - more then that and I seem to get buildup.

am I wrong about the powerwashing thing? I am hardly an expert here....

I wash my car every 2 weeks. Since it's blue, it doesn't show too much of the dust when you look at it. I use Zaino, it makes the paint look a lot better. It also makes the paint so reflective that I once saw the white stripe in the parking lot reflected on my car and thought it was a big old scratch, almost gave me an heart attack
