i have the forge recirc and a RMR intake... sounds awesome, definitely a very sweet sound especially because you can hear the intake suck-in air, and then the BOV whooshes it out... i'm addicted to boost.

 

Apex intake but was told by many performance shops not to get a BOV. The reason is in the troubleshooting section. A member explains it very well.

 

HKS air filters fall apart, and chunks of the green foam will get pulled in by the turbo and engine. As well, they leave a pretty big gap for dirty air to completely bypass the filter.

 

I just placed my order with forge motor sports for one of their recirc BOVs total came to $160.00 shipped. I hope I'm pleased with it, so many of you guys were pleased with the item I'm sure it will be great! I'd like ot hear some more comments about the sound of Forge's BOV. Does it at least sound a lot better than the stock one?

 

actually it just sounds like the stock BOV but a bit louder. when you have a cone intake on the stock BOV, its pretty loud and pleasing already, but if you want that extra bit of whoosh, its cool. the stock bov seems to work pretty nicely, but when i took it out i dropped it on carpet and snapped off the vacuum hose... cheap plastic. at least it superglued back on.
