Just got in my Evo 7 tails from Japan. Had the trunk inside partially removed before I realized all it took was two screws on each light... ah well, needed the practice. Definitely like the 7 tails better than the altezzas...



Oh yeah, removed the "Lancer" badge while I was at it.

Now all I need is to get the Enkei RPM2s mounted next week when they come in, and I'll be finished with my 8 retro-7 conversion.

 

That looks way better. I don't understand why people think "alteezas" make their car look better.

 

I wouldn't pay to add them to the car, but IMO the stock tail-lights look good on Tarmac Black

Oh yeah, that swap on the silver looks damn nice though! good job.

Ironically, I thought the only color that could look good with the stock lights was silver, but this pic above is proof that it still looks much nicer with the Evo7 tails. I always thought black would look nice if the inside were painted a very glossy black instead of the chrome.

Hes being different by changing to EVO VII lights. I love how people think altezzas make their car look personalized and different......seems every Honda I see has them.....

 

No I like the Evo 7 tails I think that saying people are weird that they like altezzas is stupid. In others words everyone has there own choice. By the way this is nothing against any of you.

I totally agree. I guess I am into the more functional side of after market tuning.
The trend seems to be if you have alteezas your car is better and faster than mine. Now that is stupid.

Wow.....those do look nice. I'm tempted myself to get them. But the stock altezzas look ok too. If I find a good deal on some red ones though....I might bite.

 

Hey, just so you know, you can purchase the exact rims that the EVO VII had from Mitsu Dealerships. I believe they are made for Mitsu by OZ. In case you wanted to know....
