Well All Jokes Aside I Still Would Like To Know Weather Or Not The Performance On The "ebay" Intercooler Is Worth The 150 Dollars Or Is My Piping Gonna Blow Off The Endtank The Minute I Hit 23psi Of Boost Because There Is No Rolled Edge On The Input Or Out Put Side Or Even Better Cause A Boost Leak Because The Welds Are Not Up To Par I Believe In The Experiece And Workmanship Of All Usdm Companies Proof In Point Is My Spending Over 13000 To Have My Car Worked And Tuned At Turbotrix.....but That Bs Aside If It Works Who Cares How Much It Costs Or Were It Comes From
I could swear I read another thread exactly like this one. Truth is, some people will buy the cheaper parts that do mostly the same thing. But if you really want to support the Evo Community, you would buy from the vendors that spend countless hours testing the parts so the Evo owners have quality parts for the long run.
If you think your eBay intercooler comes even close to the quality of the AMS intercooler then you are in denial. No offense, but my AMS intercooler makes yours look like a peice of crap.
that looks like craP LOL ....still, makes great numbersLast edited by AWDTurbo4; Feb 23, 2007 at 02:24 PM.
Ebay is for finding old records, collector toys, & memorabilia... NOT building fast cars.
Grow up guys, I mean hell. If you can't afford the quality pieces for your car, save up for them! You'll be much happier in the long run.
I've tried the "rat-rod" way of building cars, it leads to an assload of headaches, band-aiding potential big problems, constant worrying that **** is going to fall apart, knowing you've got no one to contact if a part is failing prematurely, & a generally it sucks all the fun out of the sport.
Trying to drastically cut expenses when building cars usually amounts to doubling your expenses and wasted time.

I want to see the exhaust that looks like crab - that should be interesting.
Honda-guy, those Ebay outlets point down - they do not point straight out. You also can't see the bracket when it's on the car. Lastly, the AMS writing is only on there if you want it to be.
